Your role at Bright Renewables

We are looking for an enthusiastic Service and Maintenance Engineer for our Service & Maintenance department at the Baltic office of Bright located in Riga, Latvia. In this position you will be mainly responsible for the maintenance and service of gas upgrading installations at various locations throughout Europe. As a Service and Maintenance Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal operation and reliability of our installations.


Job description

As a Service and Maintenance Engineer at Bright Renewables, you work independently and use high-quality tools. You are responsible for carrying out commissioning and maintenance work on our equipment. You ensure that the installations are successfully commissioned, continue to function optimally, carry out preventive maintenance to prevent malfunctions, and resolve any malfunctions. You work closely with colleagues and are the point of contact for our customers for technical questions and problems.


Your tasks

  • Commissioning of new installations;
  • Troubleshooting and carrying out repairs;
  • Periodic maintenance.

Job requirements


What do we ask

  • Expert skills in mechanics and/or automation and/or electronics as a service engineer or mechanic;
  • Experience in maintenance of heavy and/or light machinery or automatic control systems;
  • Flexible and customer-oriented attitude;
  • Engineer diploma or comparable qualification will be an asset;
  • Ability to work independently and find a solution to a problem;
  • Possession of driving license B;
  • Mastery of the English language;
  • Good computer skills;
  • Ability and willingness to travel outside Latvia on regular basis.
